At Medi Grade we believe that businesses have a responsibility to give back to the communities they serve. Sharing is at the heart of everything we do and every product we design is guided by the idea of making life a little easier, a little more comfortable, and ultimately better for the people who use it.
That is why we are proud to have partnered with Project Purple through their Patient Financial Aid Programme. This inspiring initiative supports individuals and families who are living with a pancreatic cancer diagnosis. The programme not only provides financial relief but also sends out care packs filled with items chosen to bring both physical and emotional comfort during treatment. Each care pack includes Project Purple’s cherished Blanket of Hope and other supportive products that help patients on their journey.
To contribute to this mission Medi Grade has donated Sleeping Eye Masks to be included in the care packs. A sleep mask provides patients with essential support for rest, recovery, and overall well-being. A soft, light-blocking eye mask can make a world of difference, offering the chance to find restful sleep even during hospital stays or treatment cycles that often disrupt normal routines.
Each pack represents more than practical support. It is also a symbol of care, kindness and solidarity, reminding patients that they are not facing this illness alone. We are humbled to know that our eye masks are now part of this thoughtful gesture of comfort.
Since its founding in 2010 Project Purple has worked tirelessly to change the story of pancreatic cancer. With research funding, community outreach, and patient support at the centre of their mission they are driving progress and spreading hope. The organisation was born from a promise to keep fighting in memory of a loved one, and it has grown into a movement that touches countless lives.
At Medi Grade we would like to thank Project Purple for the incredible work they do and for giving us the opportunity to participate in such a meaningful cause. It resonates deeply with our own values of care, community, and improving lives through innovation. Our donation is just one small step in this wider journey but it reflects our belief that when we share what we have we can make a positive impact together.
Together we can bring comfort to those who need it most and help move closer to a future where pancreatic cancer no longer takes so much from so many.
